Email and Domain Name
These days, email and domain names are business facts of life. We’ve placed them together on this page as they are often purchased simultaneously, and together convey your identity and your image.
There are two ways to buy these service. If you intend to build your own website using our Plum CMS, or if you would like us to build your website, please click here for direct access to Plum CMS. You will be able to search for, register and purchase your choice of domain name and obtain an email address(s) as part of the Plum CMS service.
Alternatively, if you wish to register a domain name and obtain an email address, but not build a website immediately or not build it with us, please click the ORDER NOW button at the foot of this page. As above, you will be able to search for and register your choice of name@yourcompany, if it’s available. Specific screens will help you through the search activity, let you select the domain(s) you wish to purchase, and pay for the domains selected.
In both cases, we will provide online instructions on how to set up email, including how to generate a password, how to log in to your email and how to use an email client.

Hints and Tips
- Your domain name can be between 3 and 67 characters long
- Domain names are not case sensitive
- Hyphens can help make a domain name easier to read (eg www.backoffice-frontoffice.co.uk)
- Should your preferred name already be taken, our domain name search tool will provide you with a choice of great alternatives
- It’s a good idea to register similar domain names. For example, if you’ve already registered yourdomain.co.uk you could also register yourdomain.com and yourdomain.eu to ensure no one else takes them
- You could register the same domain but include common spelling mistakes and typing errors to capture as large an audience as possible
- You can save on your Back Office Front Office hosting costs by forwarding several domain names to the same website.
