Secretarial Services
This is a complete suite of secretarial services, including document formatting, presentation preparation, document editing, translation, filing (electronic), expense claim preparation, and proofreading. It may also include some of the “old fashioned” services such as Dictaphone or shorthand if needed, but please let us know if these are specific requirements.
Approach
Unfortunately, secretaries cannot be dedicated to any one customer. That’s because when you buy the secretarial service, you’re literally buying the service, or output, not a person. It could be that this is the only service we provide you, or it could be that you want secretarial services in conjunction with other services offered by Back Office Front Office. If you are looking to have a specific (or the same) individual for a period of time to undertake a variety of services, we recommend you look at the Executive Assistant role. This will give you the continuity you need, offers a much broader range of services (but includes secretarial services), and requires a somewhat different (although to some extent overlapping) skill set.
Skills and capabilities
Secretarial services will be provided using standard systems/software and routine procedures, based around the capabilities of an Office-like suite of products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook especially. All the individuals delivering this service are able to exploit the software they use, and have an inherent orientation to doing it right the first time. Having a strong bias to quality is, in our view, a pre-requisite to having you as a customer, and this should be apparent in everything that is delivered to you.
